1.Acceptance of Terms
By creating a SoulPen account or accessing soulpen.app, you agree to these Terms of Service and SoulPen's Privacy Policy. SoulPen is operated by Valunik, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Payments and invoices are handled by Paddle.com as the Merchant of Record.
2.What SoulPen Is
SoulPen is an AI-powered handwritten wellness journaling companion. It reads handwritten journal entries — content and handwriting characteristics — to generate personalised emotional insights, gentle wellness nudges, and behaviour-change guidance.
SoulPen is a wellness companion tool. It is NOT a medical device, mental health treatment, therapeutic service, or clinical tool. SoulPen does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat any medical or psychological condition. Nothing SoulPen generates constitutes medical or psychological advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services immediately.
3.Your SoulPen Account
Valid email or Google account required. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for maintaining account credential confidentiality. SoulPen may suspend accounts violating these Terms.
4.SoulPen Subscription Plans
- Free — limited daily entries with core SoulPen insights.
- SoulPen Plus — expanded entries, full insight history, weekly wellness letters (monthly or annual).
- SoulPen Pro — unlimited entries, advanced AI memory, priority processing, all features (monthly or annual).
- SoulPen Lifetime — permanent Pro access, one-time payment.
All subscriptions processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
5.Billing and Cancellation
Plus and Pro subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period. No refunds for partial periods except where required by law. Lifetime is a one-time charge.
6.Acceptable Use
Do not use SoulPen for unlawful purposes. Do not circumvent subscription tier enforcement. Do not upload harmful or abusive content. Do not reverse engineer SoulPen. Do not use automated scraping. Do not impersonate others.
7.Your Content
You retain full ownership of your journal entries. You grant SoulPen a limited non-exclusive licence to process content solely to generate your personalised insights. SoulPen does not claim ownership of your content and does not use it to train AI models.
8.Intellectual Property
SoulPen — name, logo, design system, AI pipeline, and all associated technology — is the intellectual property of Valunik.
9.Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
SoulPen provided as-is. No warranties on accuracy of AI insights. Not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability capped at amount paid in preceding 12 months.
10.Governing Law
Laws of Sweden. Courts of Gothenburg, Sweden, subject to applicable consumer protection law.
11.Changes to These Terms
Material changes notified via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
